IS THERE SOMETHING I'VE FORGOTTEN TO THINK ABOUT?

When closing my yoga practice I often repeat the words:

"I honour the place in you where lies your love, light, truth and beauty. I honour the place in you where, if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."

I'm sometimes a bit uncertain as to what these words really mean but I find them calming. This morning they reminded me of a feeling that I experienced in my early teens when I was standing on a hilly paddock behind the suburbs, looking down over a glassy estuary. I strongly felt that I could lie on the surface of the water and become absorbed into it's salty stillness forever. In reality it would mean death but in my feelings it was more about living as part of the water. Today it seems to have some connection with being "in that place in me".
